I love this show. I also love the character of Max. When we were discussing in class if her reaction was a normal reaction to what Max told her I think it is hard to tell. It broke my heart to see how trusting and honest Max wanted to be with her because his situation had personally been hard for her and he cared about that women. I think for her it was a lot of information to take at once but I personally would never call someone a freak due to what Max explained to her about himself. Yes, it was a little shocking but I do not think it was freakish. I love that showtime created this show to promote exposure of the gay community. It is shows like this that encourage people to look outside of their comfort zone and outside of their box.
